The blue-haired teenager sighed and rolled over.
“Katani…” The darkness whispered again.
This time, her eyes fluttered open. Groggily, she scanned the room.
“Kaataniii…” A short giggle followed “I am here for you…”
Katani’s senses sharpened and she set bolt upright.
“… You will not get away this time, Katani…”
She sighed, and her fear was replaced with irritation.
“Boof.”
She could hear the darkness scowling.
